In his opening speech, Dr. Hoa Ngoc Son said: The festival is not only to celebrate International Chinese Language Day, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture of the University of Foreign Languages, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, but also aims at a greater significance, contributing to activities promoting the year of Vietnam-China humanities exchange. This activity becomes even more special when it is held right after the State visit of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping on April 14 and 15.
This year's activities were prepared more elaborately and on a larger scale with the participation and guidance of lecturers and the active participation of a large number of students from the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture from first to fourth year, providing a playground for young people to demonstrate their abilities and passion for Chinese, as well as to learn and explore many interesting, unique and extremely practical and familiar cultural features.
At the first stop of the festival, freshmen participated in the “Chinese Film Dubbing” and “Chinese Character Spelling” competitions. Meanwhile, sophomores entered the “battle of wits” with the “Golden Bell” Competition, through questions that required in-depth understanding of Chinese language and culture.
As part of a series of events, the “Economic Star 2025” competition brings together third-year students to demonstrate their thinking ability and ability to apply knowledge in the field of economics.
In addition, the Cultural Camp activity is where students demonstrate their artistic abilities with special activities: fan dyeing, calligraphy, cuisine, Hanfu... At the last stop, the "Farewell to K55" program for final year students took place emotionally with farewells and wishes for a steady journey on the new journey.

Student Nguyen Thu Ha (Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture) shared after performing Peking Opera voiceover: "I chose Peking Opera because it is a very unique cultural feature of China and is somewhat similar to Vietnamese opera, which brings me a feeling of closeness and familiarity. I try to learn about Peking Opera and try to practice. During that process, I really love and immerse myself in this melody."
