On November 7, Thai Nguyen Provincial Police said they had just discovered a case with signs of manufacturing, storing, and transporting hunting guns; hundreds of components were seized.

Accordingly, at around 2:30 p.m. on November 1, a working group of the Criminal Police Department of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police and Thuong Dinh Commune Police (Phu Binh District) inspected the Hyundai Elantra car of NTH (born in 1990, residing in Thuong Dinh Commune, Phu Binh District).

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 69 barrels of compressed air bullets in the trunk of the car.

While working at home, NTH voluntarily surrendered many other hidden related items including: 1 pneumatic air gun, 176 gun barrels, 480 gun manufacturing components, 5 lead bullet boxes, 17 sports bullets and many devices (sights, gun frames, gun covers, handles), items related to manufacturing pneumatic guns.

H. confessed that because he intended to manufacture and produce homemade compressed air guns (PCP guns) to sell for profit, he joined closed groups on social networks to exchange information related to buying and selling guns.

From January 2024, H. ordered gun assembly components and hired a mechanical workshop to manufacture gun barrels.

Expanding the investigation, the Criminal Police Department inspected the Glotech mechanical workshop in Tan Quang commune (Song Cong city) owned by LVH (born in 1992, residing in Phu Xa ward, Thai Nguyen city), and discovered 885 components for assembling homemade guns.

The Criminal Police Department has seized all evidence and handed it over to Phu Binh District Police for further verification and settlement according to authority.
