On October 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that through coordination with the Tan Phu District Health Department and the Tan Son Nhi Ward People's Committee, they inspected the facility at 166A Tan Son Nhi, Tan Phu District, based on the content reported by the press, and initially determined the illegal acts of this clinic.

At the time of inspection, the department inspector coordinated with the inspection team to record that the clinic was closed and not operating.

Through searching on the application "Look up information on medical and pharmaceutical practice in Ho Chi Minh City", the delegation recorded that the above address is Mary Hospital Company Limited with business registration number 0317822432, Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City, with Ms. NTM as director.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Mary Hospital Company Limited has a medical examination and treatment license No. 03242/HCM-GPHD dated August 28, 2023 issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to Dr. LNAT responsible for professional and technical expertise.

The Department Inspectorate invited the company director and related individuals to work, initially recording that the facility used unlicensed personnel to participate in medical examination and treatment.

Specifically, Mr. TVD has a medical degree, has not been granted a practice license and is practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Tu Du Hospital (18-month obstetrics and gynecology practice class, course 17) and Ms. NHTT is studying nursing at a medical school in the city.

The Department Inspectorate shall make records of administrative violations against individuals and organizations for the following acts: providing medical examination and treatment without a practicing certificate, employing practitioners without a practicing certificate; advertising special products, goods and services without the content being confirmed by a competent state agency before advertising.

For the above violations, in addition to administrative sanctions, the Department of Health revokes the right to use the medical examination and treatment license and the right to use the practice certificate of the person in charge of professional expertise of the facility.

At the same time, the facility is required to immediately stop medical examination and treatment activities, remove and delete illegal advertisements.

On the same day, the Department of Health sent an official dispatch to the Tan Phu District Health Department to supervise the suspension of the facility's operations and stop handling administrative procedures regarding the change of the doctor in charge of technical expertise at the facility.

This Department requested the leadership of Tu Du Hospital to review and strictly handle the case of Mr. TVD, who while practicing medical examination and treatment committed administrative violations in the medical field.

The Department Inspectorate continues to clarify the individuals reported and resolutely handle them strictly.
