On the morning of October 19, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Implementation of National Target Programs launched the contest "Beautiful photos of new rural areas in Ninh Binh province".
Attending the launching ceremony were members of the Organizing Committee of the contest, many photography artists in the province and some neighboring provinces.
At the launching ceremony, delegates and photographers were informed by the Organizing Committee about the contest's plan and rules.
Accordingly, participants include professional and amateur photographers in Ninh Binh province and provinces and cities across the country.
The entries are photos taken in Ninh Binh province, showing beautiful moments of landscapes, agriculture, farmers, countryside, activities of people from all walks of life participating in the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction; good, creative ways, models, and advanced examples in new rural construction; outstanding results and achievements in new rural construction and socio-economic development of the province in all fields: economy, culture, society, security and order, etc.
The works must closely follow the content and theme of the Contest. The content must not be contrary to good customs and traditions, must not go against national and ethnic interests, and must not violate the provisions of law.
Works that have won awards in national and regional photo contests organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, central agencies and Ninh Binh province, and works that have won awards in international contests are not eligible to participate in the contest.
Each author can submit up to 20 works including single photos or photo series, color or black and white photos. The works must be created using realism and traditional methods; photos that are collaged, combined, or processed technically to distort the reality, honesty, and nature of the events in the photos are not accepted.

The prize structure includes 1 first prize worth 5,000,000 VND/prize, 2 second prizes worth 3,000,000 VND/prize, 3 third prizes worth 2,000,000 VND/prize and 15 consolation prizes worth 1,000,000 VND/prize.
The Organizing Committee will select outstanding works to display in exhibitions and as propaganda materials. Royalties for works will be received according to current regulations.
The contest "Beautiful photos of new rural areas of Ninh Binh province" aims to widely communicate and preserve beautiful images of landscapes, rural spaces, moments and activities of people and nature, contributing to inspiring, believing, and connecting the community, continuing to strongly spread the movement of building new rural areas of the province.
The contest also aims to collect illustrative images of the results of new rural construction in the province to serve the application for recognition of the province's completion of the task of new rural construction.
