Injuries caused by firecrackers are often complex, occurring in many locations such as the hands, face, body, etc., making treatment difficult, time-consuming, and causing severe sequelae, even permanent loss of function.
Fireworks accidents often occur during and before Tet. The hospital receives many patients with hand injuries caused by firecrackers, most of whom are 10-16 years old and have made their own firecrackers to play with. Therefore, doctors recommend that families be vigilant and educate children to strictly follow regulations on firecracker management and not to arbitrarily make or use firecrackers to avoid unfortunate consequences.
