Phan Manh Quynh releases MV for movie 'Once upon a time there was a love story'

Musician Phan Manh Quynh composed "There is a love story", inspired by the love triangle in the film adapted from Nguyen Nhat Anh's story.

The crew introduced the lyric MV of the soundtrack, combining images of the characters in their youth and adulthood. The song belongs to the pop ballad genre, with a narrative melody and the main piano sound. Phan Manh Quynh took the idea of writing the song from the plot, depicting the emotions of Vinh, Phuc, and Mien at the age of 17, when "heart flutters, fresh vibrations before unexpected love", at 25 years old, "pain or happiness sparkles in the depths of the eyes".

In addition to singing the soundtrack, the singer also plays the role of writer Nguyen Nhat Anh, who has a scene introducing the book along with some characters. When director Trinh Dinh Le Minh invited him, he immediately agreed because he considered the Quang writer an idol. Phan Manh Quynh watched many interview videos of the writer, studying his personality to portray him. He sympathized with Nguyen Nhat Anh because of his quiet, introverted personality in front of a crowd, so he easily got into character.

Compared to many books with the same theme such as Blue Eyes, Red Summer, and Passing Chrysanthemums , the author goes into more intense details. The publisher initially planned to label the story 16+, then decided not to limit the age because it considered the work highly educational.
