Striving for 9% increase in total product in the province by 2025

That is the general goal set by the Provincial People's Committee in the growth scenario, tasks and solutions to promote economic growth of Binh Phuoc province in 2025.

Accordingly, regarding specific targets: Regarding economic indicators: Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increases by 9% compared to 2024. Economic structure in GRDP: Agriculture, forestry and fishery accounts for 22.74%, industry and construction 47.46%, services account for 29.80%. GRDP per capita reaches 123.18 million VND. Total social investment capital is 44,500 billion VND. Export turnover is 5.1 billion USD. State budget revenue in the province is 13,538 billion VND. Attracting domestic investment of 1,000 billion VND; attracting foreign investment (FDI) of 400 million USD. 1,000 enterprises and 25 cooperatives are newly registered.

In the social and environmental fields, the province strives to have no poor households by the end of 2025. The unemployment rate in urban areas remains below 3%. 45,000 workers are employed. 70% of trained workers are employed. 45% of workers of social insurance age are enrolled. 70% of schools meet national standards. The number of hospital beds per 10,000 people is 32. The number of doctors per 10,000 people is 10. Malnourished children under 5 years old remain below 10%. The population participating in health insurance is 95%.

The rate of communes meeting new rural standards is 100% (excluding 2 communes located in bauxite mineral areas). The rural population using clean water is 100%. The overall forest coverage rate is 71.7%.

Regarding the growth scenario in 2025 : The total product in the province (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 9% in 2025. Of which, agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 4.90%; industry and construction increased by 14.56%; trade and services increased by 7%; product taxes minus product subsidies increased by 4.06%. The scale of GRDP in 2025 is estimated at 133,087.84 billion VND, the average GRDP per capita is estimated at 123.4 million VND/person/year; the total social investment capital is estimated at 39,543 billion VND.

To achieve the growth target and scenario for 2025, the Provincial People's Committee has set out 10 key tasks and solutions. Specifically: Continuing to implement the Provincial Planning and restructuring economic sectors associated with innovation of the growth model, improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness. Promoting the development of a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, especially the inter-regional transport infrastructure system, urban infrastructure, and digital infrastructure. Resolutely implementing budget revenue and expenditure and improving the efficiency of public investment capital use.

Synchronously implement policies and solutions for human resource development, especially high-quality human resources, in conjunction with promoting research and development of science and technology applications, innovation, and start-up movements. Strengthen land management, mineral resources, environmental protection, and proactive response to climate change. Strengthen national defense and security, ensure social order and safety, firmly protect borders; improve the effectiveness of foreign affairs activities and proactively and actively integrate into the international community...
