According to Neowin , Windows 11 is apparently going to add a new default app in the future, or at least there have been early signs in testing that this is coming. The app in question is called PC Manager and is an optimization app similar to CCleaner, but since this is Microsoft's own idea, it's worth noting that one suggested fix is to set Bing as the default search engine in Edge.
PC Manager has issues that users need to pay attention to when using it.
Users should not worry too much because currently PC Manager is only turned into a default application on Windows 11 in China, and it is only in the testing phase with the current version of the Windows 11 24H2 update. So there is still a long way to go before this application appears on PCs elsewhere.
Even if that happens, Microsoft could change PC Manager before it comes to other markets, including not suggesting that Bing is the way to help optimize users' desktop search experience, at least if they're using Edge.
In case you want to experience it, users can download the PC Manager application and install it on their systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11. However, reviews show that, in addition to the issues mentioned, some "problematic" factors are also noted during the implementation of system optimization measures.
