Nui Phao organizes career guidance for high school students in Dai Tu district

With the message "Understand yourself - Understand your career - Choose the right direction", the program is designed vividly, integrating theory and practice through the SOFA (Strengths - Opportunities - Fears - Expectations) and VIPS (Values ​​- Interests - Personality - Skills) models. From open-ended questions such as "What makes you suitable for a certain career?" or "Do you really understand what you want?", students are inspired to think about discovering themselves in a deeper way and be more proactive in shaping their future.

The first session of the program focused on self-identification through two modern models, SOFA and VIPS. With the guidance of representatives from the Human Resources Department and the Community Department of Nui Phao Company, students were exposed to many career concepts in a close and practical way.

Right in the opening part, students participate in the activity of writing 3 words to describe themselves and sharing with the person next to them. This is not only a way for students to look back at themselves but also an important stepping stone to analyze personal factors in the SOFA and VIPS models, thereby relating to career groups that are suitable for each student's strengths, interests, life values ​​and personality.

Through specific examples, students can clearly identify: People who love creativity and freedom can be suitable for graphic design and communications; people who love stability will develop in the fields of banking, law or accounting; those with extroverted personalities who like to communicate will be suitable for marketing, communications or tour guides...

Self-description and group work activities.

The special feature of the program is the close connection between theory and practical application, helping students not only identify suitable careers but also have a clear direction to build personal plans, proactively facing the constant changes of the labor market.

The series of programs is expected to continue with the second session, focusing on practical experiences, personalized career counseling and labor market connections. According to the representative of Nui Phao Company, the program aims to support local students to have more orientation in choosing schools and preparing for future career options.
