On the soccer field at the My Dinh Sports Complex today, the female players played soccer with students from Hanoi and the Ban May Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Hoang Su Phi District, Ha Giang Province. The organizers hope that the female players will be role models for students to see the unlimited potential of women and girls.

The female players support diversity and equality so that all individuals, regardless of gender or age, can overcome harmful gender norms, develop their full potential and realize their dreams. Meanwhile, coach Mai Duc Chung, with more than 15 years of experience in women's football, understands the difficulties of female players, having to overcome social prejudices.

The 71-year-old coach shared: "Sport will bring people together to convey the message of equality for everyone regardless of gender. We must act together for a bright, violence-free future for all women and children."

Meanwhile, the 2020-2021 Vietnam Sustainable Development Goals Index Survey on Children and Women shows that more than 68% of children aged 10 to 14 have been subjected to violent discipline.
