With the enthusiasm of youth, Ms. Le Thi Thuong (born in 1988) - Secretary of the Youth Union of Bac Hong Ward (Hong Linh Town, Ha Tinh) has brought the Youth Union work and youth movement of the locality to develop more and more strongly and deeply.

Having participated in the Youth Union for more than 10 years and taking on the role of Secretary of the Ward Youth Union since 2021, Ms. Le Thi Thuong has always closely followed the direction of the Party Committee, the superior Youth Union and the practical situation in the locality, thereby constantly innovating methods, implementing programs and activities of the Youth Union effectively.

As a leader of the Youth Union and a young party member, Ms. Thuong has always been an exemplary leader in every movement. She said: “With a desire to contribute, I do not hesitate to take the lead in every task, using my enthusiasm and spirit of continuous learning to advance the Youth Union movement.”

Each project and work of the youth of Bac Hong ward has contributed to building the homeland to become more and more beautiful.

From that spirit, Ms. Thuong has proposed many good models, unique initiatives, and diverse forms of activities to attract a large number of Youth Union members to participate, contributing to keeping the fire burning and stirring up the Youth Union movement at the grassroots level. Accordingly, she has boldly registered and undertaken many important projects and tasks, joining hands with the locality to build Bac Hong ward to develop day by day.

It has become a tradition that every month, the Bac Hong Ward Youth Union organizes volunteer Saturdays and Green Sundays to clean up the environment and remove black spots of waste in public areas. In addition, the ward union also focuses on implementing activities to build a cultural and civilized urban lifestyle and support young people to start businesses.

Mutual aid activities in the area are always led by Ms. Thuong.

Ms. Thuong said that in the period of 2021 - 2023, she and the local Youth Union organized more than 300 campaigns to help the ward build a civilized urban area, with thousands of working days; launched 6 youth economic models with a scale of over 500 million VND, helping to create jobs for more than 50 workers with salaries from 6 - 10 million VND/month...

In social security activities, female leader Le Thi Thuong organized many activities to visit and encourage children of poor and disadvantaged households in the area, and sponsored foster children of the Union. It is known that since the beginning of 2021, the Bac Hong Ward Union has mobilized and donated 150 million VND to support children and carry out meaningful community-oriented work.

Ms. Thuong has created her own mark and color in the role of Secretary of the Bac Hong Ward Youth Union.

Currently, Ms. Thuong is coordinating with the local Eland English Center to organize free English and art classes for poor children. This summer, the Bac Hong Ward Youth Union also organizes useful activities for children such as: teaching swimming and drowning prevention skills; free education; organizing children's soccer tournaments... These activities are enthusiastically responded to and supported by parents and the community.

Ms. Thuong shared: “In order for the Youth Union activities to be organized effectively, it is extremely important to gather young people to join hands and work together to carry out tasks. Therefore, in the past time, I have focused on planning and organizing appropriate Youth Union programs and activities. When the quality of Youth Union activities is improved, it will create a spreading effect in the community. From there, many young people will actively and enthusiastically participate in local activities.”

The swimming and drowning prevention skills class organized by Bac Hong Ward Youth Union received enthusiastic response from many students and parents in the area.

Although her time as ward youth union secretary is not long, Ms. Thuong has created her own mark and color. Her efforts have been recognized and commended by all levels, such as: Certificate of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ha Tinh province for outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth volunteer movement in 2021; Certificate of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movement in 2022...

Comrade Thuong is an enthusiastic and responsible Youth Union cadre, always taking the lead in work and knowing how to effectively lead and organize movements. Her efforts and dedication have inspired and motivated the youth in the area to effectively carry out movements together, thereby promoting the youth's strength in building and developing the homeland.
