At Loc Ha General Hospital, with comprehensive support from Hue Central Hospital, the hospital's emergency and treatment capacity has been significantly improved. Currently, the hospital has mastered basic techniques such as inguinal hernia surgery, femoral hernia surgery, digestive endoscopy... Surgeries related to liver and lung diseases, limb bone surgery... are all performed by the hospital. In particular, the hospital can now perform appendectomy in children and pregnant women. Many internal medicine techniques in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases are also performed skillfully and effectively by the hospital.

Suffering from severe sinusitis, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh (Binh An commune) has just had a successful sinus surgery by doctors from Hue Central Hospital and Loc Ha General Hospital. From the beginning of 2025 to present, there have been more than 20 visits by experts from central-level hospitals such as Hue Central Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Hospital to visit and transfer techniques to district-level medical facilities for a period of 3 days to 1 week...

The disease model is changing day by day, the demand for health care of the people is increasing, requiring district-level medical facilities to constantly improve their capacity to reduce the burden on higher-level facilities, creating convenience for the people. Proactively connecting and inviting leading experts from central-level hospitals to directly support and transfer techniques is an effective strategy to improve the capacity of the medical team.

The sector will continue to act as a bridge, creating conditions for units to have more in-depth and comprehensive cooperation with leading hospitals in the Central region.
