In a statement to reassure her family, friends and the online community, female student Liu Ngoc Hang wants to put an end to the rumors related to her.
This afternoon (February 8), Liu Ngoc Hang (22 years old, from Dong Nai) - a 4th year female student who lost contact in Ho Chi Minh City confirmed that she is in China and is very safe.
Hang posted the information on her personal page to reassure her family, friends and the online community.
“I am the person involved in the recent public opinion incident. I am currently very safe in China. Please do not believe in unofficial rumors,” the female student shared.
She also called on people to stop spreading false information that could affect her personal life: “Please stop spreading and sharing these rumors. This will affect my life.”
Finally, the female student sent her thanks to those who have cared for her during the past time...
The family said that tonight Hang will board a plane back to Vietnam from Guangzhou City. It is expected that at 10:35 tomorrow (February 9), she will be at Tan Son Nhat airport.
Previously, as VietNamNet reported, Hang's family reported to authorities that the female student had lost contact after staying in Ho Chi Minh City to work during Tet.
After many days of searching, the family found their daughter in China with the help of authorities.
The incident attracted public attention and many rumors appeared on social networks.
