To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the organizing committee of the Vietnam Cultural Festival in Japan and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka will organize the Vietnam Cultural Festival 2025 on March 29 and 30.

This is one of the annual activities that creates conditions for the Vietnamese community in Japan to meet, exchange and strengthen solidarity.

According to Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha - Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka, the main activity of this year's festival is the re-enactment of the Hung Kings' death anniversary in Osaka and setting a record for the number of Vietnamese people forming a map of Vietnam and singing the national anthem.

This is the 8th year the Hung King's death anniversary has been held in Osaka to remind people of their national origins.

In particular, participating in this festival, people will be able to watch the movie "The Billion Dollar Kiss" directed by actress Thu Trang.

The film is scheduled to be shown on the evening of March 29. The Billion Dollar Kiss is the first film in which Thu Trang takes on three roles: director, producer and actress.

Actress Thu Trang said she was very happy to receive an invitation from the Vietnam - Japan Economic Promotion Association to bring the film to Vietnamese people in Osaka.

She hopes to exchange, learn and find future cooperation with Japanese directors and film producers.

Participating in the Vietnam Cultural Festival in Japan 2025 are also brothers from the Kindergarten group of the program " Brothers Overcoming Thousands of Difficulties" .

They are the talented Tien Dat, Tien Luat, Ha Le, Rhymastic, Binz, Quoc Thien and Duy Khanh.

According to the plan, the group will hold a mini concert right in front of Sakai City Hall for overseas Vietnamese.

Rapper Tien Dat shared that with national pride and the desire to bring Vietnamese music to the people, the group is preparing special performances, promising to satisfy the audience.

Talented actor Tien Luat was also excited to join this trip, which was also an opportunity for him and his wife to introduce the movie Billion Dollar Kiss in Japan.

The 2025 Vietnam Cultural Festival in Japan will take place on March 29 and 30, expected to attract 20,000 Vietnamese participants.
