Female owner of Quang noodle shop was beaten by male customer, leaving her face bruised

On the morning of May 13, the Ngai Giao town police, Chau Duc district, announced that they had invited Dang Ba Dung (44 years old, residing in Ngai Giao town) to the headquarters to investigate the act of repeatedly beating a woman selling Quang noodles.

The incident happened on the evening of May 12. The person beaten was Ms. Ho Thi Thu Ha (43 years old, also living in Chau Duc district), while she was selling Quang noodles to help her sister.

Ms. Ha said that around 9 p.m., a man came to the restaurant and ordered a bowl of Quang noodles. After bringing the noodles and a plate of vegetables to the customer, she returned to the kitchen and the man asked where the condiment tray was. At that time, she replied that it was at the table behind her and asked the customer to get it for her. After that, there was an argument between the two.

“ I explained that I just asked him to get the spice tray for me and that I didn’t ask him to do anything, but he still threw the chopsticks on the ground and cursed at me. Then he came to where I was standing and punched and kicked me repeatedly in the head and face,” Ms. Ha recounted.

The entire incident was recorded by a camera in the shop, then Ms. Ha's family posted it on social media, causing many people to express outrage at the man's actions.

According to the camera footage, the incident happened at 8:58 p.m. on May 12. At that time, there were 3-4 customers in the restaurant but no one dared to intervene.

After receiving information and reporting from the victim, Ngai Giao town police investigated and identified the man in the clip as Dang Ba Dung, so they invited him to work.

The case is being further investigated and handled according to regulations.
