Efforts to create impressive and effective journalism in the digital age

In 2023 and the first 6 months of 2024, the Resident Reporters Management Board, permanent agencies and resident reporters nationwide focused on disseminating the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; Resolutions of Central Conferences; sessions of the 15th National Assembly; disseminating the 6 Resolutions of the Politburo on the six economic regions of the country; patriotic emulation movements and economic-cultural-social movements in permanent locations; disseminating major holidays and events of the country.

Notably, during the peak period of propaganda to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, resident reporters across the country, especially resident reporters from northern provinces and cities and resident reporters in Dien Bien, contributed many news and articles to the Special Information Page celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the publications Nhan Dan Daily, Thoi Nay, etc.

On this occasion, the Resident Reporter Management Board and the Representative Office in Dien Bien closely and effectively coordinated with functional units and departments in the agency to organize the interactive exhibition of Dien Bien Phu Victory Panorama at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper and in Dien Bien Phu city, causing a great resonance in the press as well as in society, with strong influence, attracting nearly 30 thousand visitors in just one week.

In 2023 and the first 6 months of 2024, the leaders of the Resident Reporters Management Board and permanent agencies will continue to organize for resident reporters or coordinate with specialized Boards to carry out many topics in one or more installments with topical issues related to regional and local development, especially bringing the Party's Resolutions into life, raising and explaining issues in a profound and high-quality manner, attracting the attention of many readers...

At the same time, there are many articles with high fighting spirit, contributing to enhancing the position of the Party newspaper with effective fight against corruption, waste, and other negative manifestations in localities, receiving positive feedback and high appreciation from readers.

At the conference, comrade Le Quoc Minh spent time discussing with delegates and the team of resident reporters on the topic "Vietnamese Press, Challenges and Opportunities".

Comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized that, in the face of changes in digital technology with artificial intelligence (AI) and social networks, the press needs to keep up with the times. In recent times, Nhan Dan Newspaper has undergone rapid changes; combining platforms (print – electronic – television) so that the content and form are both rich, diverse and attractive to readers.

In that flow, Nhan Dan Newspaper is constantly innovating, besides building high-quality content, the form of expression has become more creative and attractive.

Affirming the important role of resident agencies in promoting the brand of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper requested reporters to continue to improve their professional qualifications, hone their skills, and "appreciate product thinking" to produce impressive and effective journalistic works in the digital age.
