On the evening of June 15, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended and spoke at the ceremony to receive the UNESCO Certificate inscribing "Cham pottery art on the List of intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent safeguarding" and the opening of the Ninh Thuan Grape - Wine Festival 2023, in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan province.
Also attending the ceremony were President Vo Van Thuong; Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; leaders of ministries, branches, localities, and a large number of tourists and local people.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Grape - Wine Festival is an opportunity to honor farmers, businessmen, and scientists; at the same time, it is also an opportunity to exchange and share cooperation opportunities, promote and bring the Ninh Thuan grape - wine brand to the domestic and world markets; over time, it will become a typical cultural feature of the land and people of Ninh Thuan.
The festival also brings visitors experiences of natural beauty, deeper understanding of cultural values, the will to rise up in the face of difficulties and challenges of the ethnic groups in Ninh Thuan; to understand more, love more and be more proud of the country, culture and people of Vietnam.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the Party and State will continue to pay attention to and prioritize investment resources for the development of a synchronous infrastructure system, enhancing connectivity to enhance Ninh Thuan's competitiveness; attract businesses, open up tourism potential, renewable energy and marine economic sectors. Paving the way for the province's strong products to reach domestic and international markets.
In particular, Ninh Thuan must identify unique and special cultural values as a foundation to arouse pride, love for the homeland, and aspiration to contribute in each citizen, becoming an important driving force to promote local growth.
The Deputy Prime Minister also thanked UNESCO and international friends for their valuable cooperation and assistance to Vietnam so that Vietnam's traditional cultural values can be preserved and increasingly spread widely.
"From Cham pottery art to Ninh Thuan vineyards, it shows that cultural values that are cultivated for a long time and persistently in people's daily lives will become the spiritual foundation of society, both a goal and an endogenous strength, an important driving force for the development of the country and homeland," Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ninh Thuan province need to have specific and practical plans to preserve, conserve, revive and promote tangible and intangible cultural values, improve the material and spiritual life of the people, create a cultural environment in the community, especially in the family cultural space and also in cyberspace.
All levels, sectors and the whole society need to join hands to preserve and conserve cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO so that good traditional cultural values always accompany every step of the nation's development, contributing to and enriching world culture.
