(NLDO) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested to study the proposal of Binh Phuoc province on investing in expanding the road connecting Binh Phuoc province and Dong Nai province.
On January 27, the Government Office issued a document studying the proposal of Binh Phuoc province on the investment policy to expand DT 753 road connecting DT 761 road of Dong Nai province via Ma Da bridge.
The document clearly states that it is implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam in Notice No. 117-TB/VPTW dated January 13 on studying the proposal and recommendation of Binh Phuoc province on the policy for Binh Phuoc province to invest in expanding DT 753 road connecting DT 761 road of Dong Nai province through Ma Da bridge.
Ma Da Bridge is a proposed location in Binh Phuoc province to connect Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assigned the Ministry of Transport to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to urgently implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam in the above document and the direction of the Prime Minister in Document No. 3266 dated May 9, 2023 of the Government Office.
Research and propose optimal traffic connection options, report to the Prime Minister in February 2025.
Recently, people have reported that the DT 753 road has seriously degraded, with many potholes appearing, posing a risk of traffic accidents. In particular, during the rainy season, the road surface of DT 753 from Bau Truc intersection (bordering Tan Xuan and Tan Thien wards, Dong Xoai city) to the center of Tan Phuoc commune, Dong Phu district, has many dangerous deep holes.
People hope that the locality will have solutions to upgrade and expand DT 753 road.
According to the Binh Phuoc Province Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the project to upgrade and expand Highway 753 is still being partially implemented according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee approving the investment project to upgrade and expand Highway 753 and build Ma Da bridge connecting with Long Thanh - Dong Nai International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau).
The project is 13 km long, starting at Bau Truc intersection, Dong Xoai city, and ending at Dong Phu - Binh Duong road. The total investment is about 480 billion VND, from the central and local budgets. Completion time is in 2025. The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is completing bidding procedures and is about to proceed with site clearance.
