Majin Bu account recently posted a tweet on X providing an image of a case believed to be for the iPhone SE 4.
As previous rumors and predictions suggest, the iPhone SE 4 will have a major design overhaul, instead of using the design language of the iPhone SE 3, which is similar to the iPhone 8.
Rabbit ears may appear on iPhone SE 4
Accordingly, the case image shows that the iPhone SE 4 will likely borrow the design of the iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, instead of the 4.7-inch LCD on the iPhone SE 3.
The “rabbit ears” containing Face ID also appear for the first time on Apple’s cheapest iPhone model, meaning the physical Home button will be eliminated. Previous information said that the SE 4 could use a 6.1-inch screen provided by BOE.
Revealing the single camera on the back of iPhone SE 4.
On the back, the leaked image shows a single camera sensor accompanied by an LED flash. The camera lens appears to be larger, however, there will be no ultra-wide lens or any other lens to position the product in the budget segment. The 48MP camera lens will be a significant upgrade from the previous 12MP camera on the previous iPhone SE.
On the side of the device, the mute button is located above the volume rocker. The Action button replaces the vibration lever on the side of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, allowing users to press and hold the button to quickly access and activate functions without unlocking the screen. This button will respond to users with vibrations to notify that the function has been turned on/off.
Fourth generation low-cost iPhone also equipped with Action button?
If Actions really doesn't appear on the iPhone SE 4, this will certainly be a pity for Apple's next-generation low-cost iPhone model, as rumors say all upcoming iPhone 16 models will be equipped with this feature.
Meanwhile, alleged 3D models of the iPhone 16 series are also circulating online. According to multiple sources, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to have larger screen sizes this year, while the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will be the same size as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
The iPhone 16 Pro is said to have a 6.3-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display. In contrast, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively.
Apple plans to replace the toggle/vibration button on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus with an Action button, which was previously reserved for the iPhone 15 Pro models. However, the image shows that the new Action button will be larger than the one on the current iPhone Pro models.
It is worth noting that the rear camera has been redesigned, information that has long been rumored, now has further confirmation in the newly appeared 3D model image of the iPhone 16. The pill-shaped protrusion houses separate wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses on both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, no longer located on the diagonal of the square module like the iPhone 15. The microphone is located between the two lenses, while the camera flash is located on the back of the device, outside the camera module.
In addition to the above details, all 4 iPhone 16 models are expected to have a completely new button dedicated to taking photos and recording videos - the "Capture button" located on the same side as the power button.
Rumors suggest the shutter button will be mechanical rather than capacitive. According to The Information, it will respond to pressure and touch, similar to the shutter button on a professional camera, with two stages: a light press to focus and more force to take a photo. The "capture button" will have functions like adjusting focus and zoom in addition to triggering photo and video capture.
Will the Capture key be on the same side as the power key?
The iPhone 16 series is expected to be released next September. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max versions will have powerful camera upgrades, support for Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Advance connectivity, and a graphene cooling system. The iPhone 16 series will likely support generative AI, allowing users to interact with chatbots or create text images right on the phone.
