Outstanding female entrepreneurs of the “Grow My Business” Project

After a period of serious and enthusiastic implementation of the Project (DA) “Growing my business”, the award ceremony for business development by female small and micro business owners (phase 1) was held. In which, Thanh Hoa Microfinance Organization (TCVM) had 10 typical customers honored. This is not only an occasion to honor the efforts of female entrepreneurs but also a testament to the great role of Thanh Hoa Microfinance Organization in supporting women to start businesses and develop a sustainable economy.

With the goal of "For community development", "For women's advancement", Thanh Hoa Microfinance Organization not only provides capital but also is an important bridge to bring customers to meaningful projects, online courses via Herventure application, many direct courses, in-depth consultation with domestic and foreign financial experts with practical, easy-to-understand, easy-to-apply knowledge... The dedication and close companionship of credit officers have helped customers not only access capital but also be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop economic models and micro-enterprises systematically, towards sustainable values.

From rural areas to remote mountainous areas, Thanh Hoa TCVM staff have not been afraid of difficulties, bringing opportunities to women who have the desire to rise up and the will to start a business. The support of Thanh Hoa TCVM not only contributes to maintaining customers' agricultural production, livestock, and food processing models, but also reaches further thanks to output connections, expanding markets at fairs, product introduction booths, etc.

Honoring the outstanding efforts of female micro-entrepreneurs

The “Grow My Business” project is organized by The Asia Foundation (TAF) and the Center for Women and Development (CWD). The project was established with the mission of reaching out to and supporting small and micro enterprises owned by women in Vietnam, helping them improve their capacity and actively participate in the digital economy. In particular, TCVM Thanh Hoa is one of the local partners, bringing the project to women in Thanh Hoa.

The “Grow My Business” program is divided into three groups with training levels: “Preparing to start a business”; “Starting a business”; “Growing and expanding a business model”. Each level is designed with in-depth content that can be applied immediately in practice, such as: business administration; developing business ideas; using digital tools for marketing and sales; operations management, business registration; customer relationship management: online business; market expansion; financial management, financial reporting. In particular, the program also provides 1-1 consulting services, helping female entrepreneurs and small traders have the opportunity to discuss and solve specific challenges in their business process.

Among the 10 outstanding customers of Thanh Hoa Microfinance Organization honored at the business development award ceremony by female small and micro business owners of the “Grow my business” project, there were 4 outstanding customers who won prizes worth 10 million VND thanks to their outstanding achievements in studying and applying knowledge into business practice and 6 other customers who won the outstanding member award, receiving prizes worth 5 million VND, making an impression with their spirit of continuous efforts and steady progress in business.

One of the highlights of the award ceremony was the story of the will, determination, and determination to overcome difficulties and challenges to reach success from female micro-entrepreneurs. The products that mark the journey of these female micro-entrepreneurs such as clean guava, exported pineapple, dried buffalo meat, and upland sticky rice not only carry the local cultural identity but also demonstrate the persistent efforts in ensuring quality and finding markets...

Ms. Bui Thi Lien - a female entrepreneur who won the DA's excellent award with her guava growing model in Thach Thanh district shared: "The capital from Thanh Hoa Microfinance and the DA's courses have completely changed my life. Now, I have not only expanded my production model but also created jobs for 5 local workers. Today's award is a great encouragement, helping me to be more confident on the road ahead."

By participating in DA, members not only receive financial support but also open up a path for more comprehensive development. With a small amount of capital, many women have overcome their circumstances, started a business from scratch, making the most of available resources in the family to expand production and business. In addition, participating in online courses in DA helps women master knowledge of financial management, business strategy and applying digital technology to access and expand the market... Each micro-enterprise participating in DA is honored as an inspirational story about the will and determination to rise up in life, about the dream of starting a business, conquering dreams. The results that DA achieves create sustainable values ​​on the journey of sustainable poverty reduction, promoting socio-economic development.

The women with bright faces and confident smiles standing on the stage to receive the award from the “Grow my business” project are vivid proof of the important role of women in developing the family economy, improving community life and affirming their position in society. The award ceremony for business development by female small and micro business owners of the Project “Grow My Business” (Phase 1) has ended with pride and inspiration, opening up new opportunities for the development journey of female entrepreneurs - those who are writing stories about strength and change for the advancement of women in the future every day. With an expected benefit of about 10,000 female entrepreneurs and small traders in Thanh Hoa, the Project “Grow My Business” will continue to accompany female entrepreneurs in improving their capacity, expanding their market and applying technological solutions for sustainable development.
