John Cena stunned the audience with his "naked" appearance when he announced the winner for Best Costume. This was Jimmy Kimmel and John Cena's idea to recall the incident of a naked man on the Oscar stage in 1974.
Before appearing before the guests, Cena pretended not to want to come out and had a funny dialogue with the host. The former wrestler then took to the stage in a state of undress, using the envelope containing the results to cover his private parts. He couldn't even open the envelope, and Kimmel saved him by wrapping a curtain around himself. In fact, John Cena was not completely naked, but was still wearing a skin-colored protective suit.
The award for Best Costume Design went to Holly Waddington - costume designer for Poor Things .

"I understand that being nominated is a huge milestone in an artist's life and not being fully recognized is insulting and heartbreaking. I say this as someone who has deep relationships with filmmakers, actors and producers. I really sympathize with the names that were overlooked, which is why I need to speak up about this," Al Pacino told Variety on March 11.

According to Variety , the stage was inspired by the classic scene of Marilyn Monroe performing the song Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend in the film Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953). He went down to the audience to invite Emma Stone to sing with him, pulled the cameraman onto the stage, turning the awards ceremony space into a "pink kaleidoscope", according to Rolling Stones .

Throughout the four-hour event, Messi sat upright, did not bark or cause trouble. Reporters also captured moments when the dog looked straight at the camera, clapping thanks to the prosthetic legs attached to the chair. Anatomy of a Fall won the 2024 Oscar for Best Screenplay.

The Oscars - the annual awards ceremony of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences - is one of the most famous and prestigious film events in the world. The 2024 awards ceremony takes place at a time when Hollywood is in turmoil, with few projects being produced due to the impact of a double strike and the development of online movie platforms.
