Crystal clear beaches, cool green grasslands, rare cloud-hunting passes and salt fields with a hundred-year history are places not to be missed when coming to Quang Ngai.

With a 129 km long coastline, Quang Ngai contains many rich natural heritages and many clear blue beaches, attracting domestic and foreign tourists. Quang Ngai's climate is divided into two distinct seasons: sunny season and dry season with an average temperature of 25-27 degrees Celsius.
Although the climate in some other provinces tends to increase in the next few months, Quang Ngai still maintains cool temperatures, not too harsh sunlight in the summer with daytime temperatures around 33 degrees Celsius.
Znews suggests some ideal places to have fun this summer, promising to make you have fun and experience new things.
Welcome the sunrise, hunt clouds at Violak Pass
This location is on Highway 24, connecting Kon Tum province with Quang Ngai. With a road length of about 50 km, the pass winds through many mountains and valleys, the peak of the pass is more than 1,300 m above sea level, so there are many clouds and dense fog. The wild and fresh scenery makes this place an ideal cloud hunting spot for those who love to travel.

Following the winding road, visitors will encounter a natural landscape as charming as paradise. On one side is a steep mountainside, decorated with green, red, yellow, purple colors from grass and wild flowers along the road, on the other side are green valleys interspersed with canals. Especially in the early morning, when dawn breaks, the sunlight slowly spreads across the distant mountain pass, along with the white clouds, making Violak Pass like a simple but lyrical natural painting.
Standing on the top of the pass in the early morning, the best time is between 6-8am, you will admire the rare scenery when the clouds float in front of you. The sun climbs high, causing the fog to gradually dissipate, the feeling is hard to describe when you are alone with the sky and the earth.

Small Island, also known as An Binh Island Commune, is only 3 nautical miles from Big Island but still retains its wild beauty because it has not been exploited much. Therefore, the scenery here is breathtakingly beautiful, making anyone who sets foot here fall in love. Visitors can choose to take a wooden boat for about 30 minutes, or if they want to go faster, they can travel by canoe for about 10 minutes.

Although there are not many tourist activities, you can take pictures on the cliffs overlooking the vast sea and sky or eat and camp here as you like. Check-in at Sa Huynh salt fields
If you have set foot in Quang Ngai, tourists should not miss the Sa Huynh salt fields which are over 100 years old. Unlike the usual beautiful landscape, this place has experienced many ups and downs in history when the harvest did not meet the prospects and the brand value had no place in the locality.
It was not until 2011 that the Intellectual Property Office granted the “Sa Huynh Salt” certificate that everything changed and developed to this day. Coming here, visitors will learn more about the salt making work of local people.

The image of people working hard to make salt, mounds of salt piled up, and the sparkling golden sunlight shining down on the fields, creates a strangely simple and charming beauty.
To get the best photos, you should go from the third lunar month to the eighth solar month every year. On sunny days, the salt industry can produce the best, visiting during the rainy season and cloudy weather is not recommended. Above all, the best time to fully enjoy the poetic and romantic beauty of this place is at dawn from 5-6am or sunset from 4-6pm.
