Speaking on the sidelines of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Cu Phat Nghiep, Chairman of the Trade Union of Pouyuen Company Limited (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) said that at this time, the company's orders are stable, with some items having orders from February to June 2024.
To meet increased production needs, the company plans to recruit more than 1,000 general workers by January 2024.

According to Falmi's forecast, in the last months of the year, Ho Chi Minh City needs more than 81,000 jobs. The demand for human resources is concentrated in the trade and service sector, needing nearly 59,000 jobs, accounting for more than 72% of the total demand for human resources. The industrial and construction sector needs nearly 23,000 jobs, accounting for nearly 28%.
Of which, the human resource demand of 4 key industries needs more than 15,000 jobs, accounting for nearly 19% of the total human resource demand.
The human resource demand of 9 major service industries requires more than 53,000 jobs, accounting for nearly 66% of total human resource demand.
The human resource demand of 8 international-level human resource training sectors requires nearly 10,000 jobs, accounting for more than 12% of the total human resource demand.
The forecast for the labor situation at the end of the year is quite positive, however, labor relations at this time are still a sensitive issue because this is the time when businesses begin to announce salaries and bonuses for Tet.
Therefore, Mr. Le Van Thinh, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, directed relevant units to closely monitor developments in labor relations and labor fluctuations at enterprises in the city to promptly guide enterprises to comply with regulations.
At the same time, Mr. Le Van Thinh also requested to organize and implement a plan to strengthen supervision of salary and bonus payment on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 and stabilize labor, employment, and labor relations at enterprises.
In addition, the Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs directed units to continue to carry out activities connecting labor supply and demand to solve employment needs for workers, focusing on introducing jobs for laid-off workers at enterprises.
