Many local leaders are allowed to retire early.

(NLDO) – The Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Quang Nam province and two district-level leaders in this province were allowed to retire early due to redundancy after the reorganization.

On December 29, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province announced that the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the list of cadres, civil servants and public employees to be streamlined in the first phase of 2025, according to Decree No. 29/2023/ND-CP dated June 3, 2023 of the Government.

Mr. A Lang Mai, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Quang Nam province, was allowed to retire early.

According to the decision, the list of the first round of staff reduction in 2025 of Quang Nam province has 107 people. Of these, 90 people will retire before the age of 90 and 17 people will quit their jobs immediately.

Notably, among the 107 people whose staff was reduced, there were Mr. A Lang Mai (born December 27, 1966) - Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Quang Nam province; Mr. Tran Uc (born August 30, 1964) - Chairman of Dien Ban town People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Thang (born July 20, 1965) - Vice Chairman of Que Son district People's Committee.

In addition, many commune and ward leaders in Quang Nam province were allowed to retire early. The reason for the reduction was "redundancy due to reviewing and rearranging the organization and personnel according to the decision of the competent authority".

In addition, Mr. Le Chi (born April 6, 1968) - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tam Hiep Commune and Mr. Nguyen Van Ly (March 26, 1966) - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Anh Bac Commune (both in Nui Thanh District) were allowed to retire due to being disciplined but not to the extent of being dismissed or forced to quit according to the provisions of law. At the time of considering streamlining the payroll, the individual voluntarily implemented the streamlining and was approved by the direct management agency.
