At gold shops, people jostled to buy goods. Compared to this day last year, the number of customers ordering and coming to buy gold increased sharply.
Mr. Pham Xuan Sinh (Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh) woke up early in the morning and drove more than 60km to buy gold on the day of God of Wealth. He shared that despite the heavy rain, he would feel uneasy if he missed buying gold today. Buying a tael of gold on God of Wealth day prays for blessings and a prosperous new year.
Mr. Sinh also added that many people in the family and locality consider this an indispensable thing in the early spring. They do not care about the high or low price of gold on the day of God of Wealth.

Ms. Bui Huyen Dieu (owner of Mai Xuan gold shop) said that to serve people's demand for gold, the shop has imported a large quantity of gold leaves, round rings, necklaces, bracelets in the shape of Pixiu, and gold bars printed with the words "Loc Phat".
“This year, the price of gold on God of Wealth Day has decreased compared to the previous time, so the number of customers coming to buy is quite large. To avoid the crowding, many customers order online early. Round gold rings are still chosen by many people, especially, in the morning, our store sold out of gold rings with feng shui stone faces,” said Ms. Dieu.
