Bright spot of "skillful mass mobilization"
In Thai Chan Son village (Dai Hung commune), recently, from the socio-economic development orientation of the commune, the efforts of the government and organizations, Thai Chan Son people have renovated a mixed garden to grow fruit trees with an area of 17 hectares.
Mr. Pham Duc Thinh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dai Hung commune shared that, realizing that the soil is suitable for growing citrus trees, the locality mobilized to build a movement to renovate mixed gardens, attracting 17 households to participate. Seeing the value of grapefruit and orange trees, in 2019, the locality continued to mobilize people to expand the area.
From Resolution 35 of the Provincial People's Council on the mechanism to support the development of garden economy and farm economy in the period of 2021 - 2025, the government and mass organizations of Dai Hung continue to mobilize people to improve their gardens, forming a specialized fruit tree growing area of 17 hectares with 72 participating households.
"The locality continues to mobilize people to expand the area of fruit trees, create conditions for developing eco-tourism spots, combine attracting investment in Thai Son hot spring, connecting with Dong Giang Heaven Gate tourist area" - Mr. Thinh said.
The movement of people donating land to open roads in Nghia My area (Ai Nghia town) is also a bright spot in the mass mobilization work. When mobilized, many households in Nghia My personally dismantled fences, cleared trees, and donated land to open roads.
Mr. Nguyen Tam (Group 1, Nghia My area) said: “Many residential roads in the town are still narrow and waterlogged. When mobilized, my family and the locals hired people to move fences, cut down trees, and donated nearly 150 square meters of land to widen the road.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van - Secretary of the Nghia My area Party Cell shared that Nghia My area has 45 households voluntarily donating land to expand 2 concrete roads with a total length of more than 490m.
“The key point that helped the campaign to donate land for road construction achieve high results is that the Ai Nghia town People's Movement Bloc promoted democracy, aroused consensus and response among the people. All project information was public and transparent, organized meetings with people, listened to people's thoughts and aspirations" - Ms. Van said.
In Dai Hiep, the residential area model of "Self-management, solidarity, prosperity, happiness" and the solidarity group "Two haves" (my house has a fire extinguisher and a security camera) in Tich Phu village, launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, are also bright spots in mass mobilization work that are being widely replicated...
Replicate good models
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Dai Loc District Party Committee, in order for the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" movement to be widely and effectively deployed, the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee has advised the District Party Committee to issue directive documents on promoting the emulation movement "Skillful Mass Mobilization" associated with implementing the movement "All people join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" with the implementation of Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".
Mr. Vu said: “It can be seen that the emulation movement “Skillful mass mobilization” has developed widely in Dai Loc with hundreds of models. From practice, it has contributed to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, the appearance of the new countryside is more spacious, the role of the people is promoted”.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu said that to continue spreading the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" movement, it is necessary to promote propaganda and dissemination of experiences and good practices, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals who do well; and replicate advanced models.
Regularly perform well the work of inspection, supervision, urging, and direction; strengthen the work of professional training for the staff doing mass mobilization work. By 2025, each organization, agency, unit at the district level and each commune/town, organization in the political system in the district will register to implement at least one "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model at the district and grassroots levels.
According to the plan, this year, Dai Loc will continue to replicate the model of "Mobilizing people to hand over fishing tools using electric pulses" of the Party Committee of Dai Thang commune's Mass Mobilization Bloc to the entire district. Replicating the model of "Linking rice seed and crop production" in Phu Xuan village (Dai Thang commune) to areas suitable to local conditions.
Each locality selects a solidarity group to replicate the model "My house has a fire extinguisher and security camera" of solidarity group number 2, Tich Phu village, Dai Hiep commune...
“With the flourishing of models and movements of “Skilled Mass Mobilization” from the district to the grassroots level, the spirit of solidarity, determination, cooperation and consensus of the entire political system and all classes of people have “activated” and mobilized enormous resources and strength,” said Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu.
