The story is about a mermaid named Ariel who lives in the middle of the deep blue ocean - a beautiful kingdom where all kinds of sea creatures live together in peace. Ariel witnesses her beautiful ocean kingdom being increasingly polluted by human waste.
However, she was fascinated by the human world and saved a prince when his ship was sinking. It was his love that made Ariel want to live on land, she traded her singing voice with the Octopus Witch to have legs to step into the human world and wanted the prince and humans to understand the harmful effects of marine pollution that they themselves caused.
