To be certified by Magnus International Thailand, The Field ensures the following standards: Waste management activities of all departments and operations of the restaurant; training activities on waste management of all departments and operations of the restaurant; implementation of initiatives to reduce waste and manage energy; and implementation of community responsibility activities on environment and livelihood.

According to Magnus International Thailand, the "gold" and "platinum" level certifications that The Field received demonstrate the company's commitment to sustainable business practices, considering environmental impacts and efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as impacts on local communities.

According to the representative of the Thai Environmental Management Fund, this is the first unit in Hoi An City to be granted this certificate and hopes that this will be a motivation for other units and businesses in the tourism industry to prioritize environmental conservation and together develop sustainable tourism for future generations.

On this occasion, Emic Hospitality Company and the Thai Environmental Management Foundation, Magnus International Thailand signed a memorandum of understanding on joint commitment to sustainability, with an effort to contribute to making Hoi An a model sustainable tourism destination. This cooperation will focus on implementing environmentally friendly activities in hotels, restaurants and transportation, while promoting responsible tourism among visitors.
