Thai restaurant attracts customers thanks to sexy dancers

Cheap prices, rich food, sexy dancers are the factors that make restaurants in Bangkok famous and popular.

Owner Katekaew Sophalert said she wanted to open a unique rice and curry restaurant, so she decided to offer all-you-can-eat service with a special program. Customers can have both savory and dessert dishes at her restaurant for only 59 baht per person. Children under five are free. The restaurant's menu includes a full range of meat and seafood dishes. When the restaurant first opened, it served 20 different types of savory and sweet dishes. Now, the restaurant has nearly 100 options to meet the needs of diners.

In addition to the surprisingly low prices, the restaurant's staff also entertains diners while they eat by wearing sexy dancer costumes. These dancers are always encouraged and loved by the diners who visit. The dancing show usually takes place on Sundays.

The restaurant owner claims that the restaurant attracts customers not only because of its sexy dancers but also because of its delicious, high-quality food. Customers who have visited have all left positive feedback.

Katekaew stressed that the girls dancing in sexy costumes are just a way to entertain customers while they eat. According to her, dancing is not a bad thing. It is legal and no customer harasses the dancers.

Anupong Ingsantier, a diner, said it was his first time eating at the restaurant and he did not know there would be dancers. Ingsantier liked the food and thought the prices were reasonable.

Katekaew has invited foodies to join the restaurant’s food challenge in November. The person who eats the most will win a prize of 10,000 baht. Katekaew’s restaurant is open daily from 5am to 3pm. Customers make reservations very early, from 2am to 3pm. Many days the restaurant is sold out by 11am.
