On the afternoon of June 5, in a discussion group on the draft Law on Credit Institutions (amended), National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue stated that the banking sector has made every effort to support the economy. Recently, the State Bank decided to reduce the operating interest rate three times, and the Deputy Governor of the Bank also said that "it can be reduced further".

However, the National Assembly Chairman said that inflation in 2022 only increased by 3.15% compared to 2021 but the mobilization interest rate of 9% is too unreasonable.
