According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, over the past 10 years, Vietnam's livestock industry has maintained a growth rate of 5.72%, bringing the total number of pigs regularly present to over 30 million (providing about 5 million tons of pork, making Vietnam 5th in the world in terms of total herd and 6th in meat output).
