Regarding the case of a mother and child found dead in their home in Ha Tinh, by the evening of May 27, through an autopsy and crime scene investigation, authorities determined that Ms. P. had died about a month ago, her body was lying on a bed covered with a blanket, decomposed, and her bones were not affected.

As for Mrs. N., who was wearing normal clothes, had no injuries, and only had her feet decomposed, she was determined to have died about 5 days ago and the cause of death was myocardial infarction. The police also checked the items in the house but found no disturbance. Currently, Cam Xuyen District Police are continuing to investigate the case.

Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on May 27, residents of Trung Doai village (Cam Duong commune) were surprised to smell a strong odor coming from the house of Ms. Phan Thi P. (born in 1937). Upon entering to check, residents were shocked to discover Ms. P.'s body on the bed, and Ms. Phan Thi N. (born in 1976, Ms. P.'s daughter) dead on the porch.

The incident was immediately reported to the authorities. Upon receiving the news, the Criminal Police Department, Ha Tinh Provincial Police coordinated with Cam Xuyen District Police to arrive at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.

It is known that Ms. P. and her son live together. Both mother and son are receiving benefits for people with mental illness.
