According to the report of the Department of Home Affairs, the unit is coordinating with the Provincial People's Committee Office and localities to complete the draft master plan for organizing the anniversary, expected to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval no later than next week. This year's plan not only inherits the annual activities but also adds many new contents, demonstrating the deep concern of the Provincial Party Committee and Government for people with revolutionary contributions.

One of the key contents is to prepare gifts for policy households. Based on the conclusion of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in Notice No. 1069-TB/TU and the spirit of Resolution No. 34, each gift is worth about 1 million VND (including 500 thousand VND in cash and in kind). This is a combination of material and spiritual, carrying a deep meaning of gratitude, while contributing to preserving the unique cultural values of Quang Nam .

Along with that, the Department of Home Affairs has issued a decision to establish a team to assist in gift purchasing and carry out tasks such as surveying, quoting, appraising and preparing procedures to submit to the Department of Finance for funding.

In addition to gift-giving activities, this year the province will organize many more activities such as visiting, renovating, and repairing works honoring martyrs; coordinating with the Provincial Steering Committee for Temporary Housing Removal to organize a house handover ceremony for policy households whose temporary housing is removed. In particular, the province also plans to organize a live television bridge to broadcast some typical gratitude activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source" to a wide range of people.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan agreed to assign the Department of Home Affairs to preside over all gift purchasing work, coordinate with the Department of Finance to advise on funding sources, based on the registration list from localities. Districts, towns and cities are responsible for organizing the presentation to the right recipients, at the right time and ensuring solemnity.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan emphasized that the activities to commemorate War Invalids and Martyrs Day not only pay tribute to the great sacrifices of heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution, but also provide an opportunity toeducate the tradition of patriotism, arouse the sense of responsibility and morality in the community. Therefore, relevant departments and branches continue to coordinate closely, deploy tasks on schedule and ensure the highest efficiency.
