The Organizing Committee announced the revocation of the title of Miss Global Businesswoman 2023 from beauty Nguyen Thi Thao.
"The Miss Business Global Organizing Committee regrets to announce the revocation of the title of beauty Nguyen Thi Thao (from Vietnam), because she has not fulfilled her obligations since being crowned," the announcement stated.
First runner-up is Latvian beauty - Alisa Miskovska, who was promoted to replace Miss Nguyen Thi Thao.
The new runner-up titles were also updated by the Organizing Committee, including: Miss Global Business Ambassador 2023 belongs to beauty Hoang Thi Loan from Vietnam, 1st runner-up is beauty Mariel Baltanza from the Philippines, 2nd runner-up is beauty Anastacia Tacia from Malaysia.
The Miss Global Entrepreneur contest will take place from December 2022 to March 21, 2023. The judges of the contest include: People's Artist Le Khanh, beauty Nam Em, actor Cong Hau, actress On Bich Hang, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul.
In the final night, 16 contestants from various countries went through three rounds of competition including performing in their national costumes, performing in Vietnamese ao dai, and performing in evening gowns.
In the end, beauty Nguyen Thi Thao from Binh Dinh was named for the highest position.
Before Nguyen Thi Thao, many Vietnamese beauties had their crowns and titles stripped for various reasons.
In September 2020, the Organizing Committee of the 2019 Quang Binh Tourism Beauty Contest announced the decision to strip and revoke the First Prize title of Tran Ngoc Huyen for violating many of the Organizing Committee's regulations.

In 2018, beauty Thu Dung was stripped of her third runner-up title by the Miss Eco International 2018 Organizing Committee after taking offensive photos and being suspected of being part of a prostitution ring.
She was also stripped of her first runner-up title by the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Fashion Model Contest 2018 for inappropriate behavior, taking offensive photos, affecting the fine customs and cultural traditions of Vietnamese people at Tuyet Tinh Coc Da Lat.

According to the Organizing Committee, during her term, Nguyen Thi Bao Ngoc made many unreasonable demands, placing emphasis on personal interests and disregarding the prestige of the contest, causing public opinion to have a distorted view of the mission of a beauty queen.
