House in Da Nang caught fire when the rain stopped

At around 5:00 p.m. on July 14, people discovered a fire breaking out at house 1695 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City) so they shouted to put out the fire.

However, because the fire broke out on the third floor of the house, residents could not put it out themselves so they reported it to the authorities. Residents said that at the time of the fire, there were people in the house and they ran outside.

Immediately, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, Da Nang Police, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Thanh Khe district mobilized 5 fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire extinguishing work.

According to Dan Tri reporters, the fire broke out on the third floor of the house located on Ho Quy Ly Street (a house with two frontages), with smoke rising dozens of meters high, accompanied by a burning smell spreading around. At the time the house caught fire, the rain had just stopped in Da Nang.

Because the fire appeared on a high floor, the firefighters deployed firefighting equipment in many different directions.

By about 5:40 p.m., the fire was basically under control. The fire did not cause any human casualties, and property damage is being assessed.
