Domestic and international artists show off their flower arranging skills

On December 19, on the occasion of the 2024 Dalat Flower Festival, the Dalat Flower Association (Lam Dong) opened the "Vietnam Fresh Flower Art Exhibition 2024" at the pine hill in the Palace Dalat Hotel. The exhibition gathered dozens of domestic and international flower arrangers, including 40 booths with 42 works by domestic flower arrangers, 32 flower art works by flower arrangers from Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Korea... The displayed works were all made by artisans using fresh flowers from Dalat.

Mr. Phan Thanh Sang, Chairman of the Da Lat Flower Association, said: "'Vietnam Artistic Flower Exhibition 2024' is one of the events responding to the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024. This is the 4th time the Da Lat Flower Association has organized an art flower exhibition, aiming to contribute to promoting the beauty and value of Da Lat flowers".

Not only fresh flowers, Da Lat agricultural products are also included in the work.

On the first day, many flower lovers came to see the artists directly create their works right at the exhibition space, thereby understanding more about the creativity and intricacy of the art of flower arrangement. After the opening ceremony, many people and artists visited and enjoyed the flower art works as well as the commercial booths, where pioneering products and services in the flower industry converged.

In particular, on this occasion, the Dalat Flower Association organized a tour to visit famous flower gardens in Dalat for artisans participating in the exhibition.

Mr. Sang hopes that through this event, the love for flower art will be spread more strongly, connecting artisans, designers, businessmen and all those who share the same passion for flowers domestically and internationally. On the other hand, this is also an opportunity to honor the cultural, natural and creative values, contributing to raising the position of Da Lat flowers and Vietnamese flower art on the international map.
