* On the morning of February 5, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to announce the Decisions of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on personnel work. At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced 3 Decisions of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman on appointing the Director of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion; Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

* On the evening of February 4, 2024 (December 25), Vinh City authorities installed and decorated the dragon mascot for the Year of the Dragon 2024 at the art flower garden on Ho Tung Mau Street. This promises to be a tourism highlight serving locals and visitors in the new year.

* In the days leading up to Tet, hundreds of fishing boats of fishermen in Hoang Mai town docked at the fishing port to celebrate Tet. The boats were full of seafood, mostly anchovies.
