The 10th International Yoga Day will take place on June 21-22. The event is organized by the People's Committee of Sa Pa town in coordination with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center - Embassy of India in Vietnam.
On the evening of the first day (June 21), there will be an exchange program and art performance to celebrate the festival at Sa Pa Town Stadium. The program will be performed by Vietnamese and Indian artists, domestic and international Yoga stars combined with an art program of ethnic groups in Sa Pa town to praise the friendship between Vietnam and India.
From 9am to 10am on June 22, the 10th International Yoga Day celebration will take place at the Sa Pa Ethnic Culture Park with the participation of leaders of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the Indian Embassy. The highlight of the celebration is a mass performance gathering hundreds of people from domestic and international clubs.
The performance celebrates the unity of mind, body and spirit and the harmony within each person, between people and between people and between people and nature.
The 10th International Yoga Day is a foreign affairs activity of Lao Cai province to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam - India Strategic Partnership (July 6, 2007 - July 6, 2024); the 78th anniversary of India's Independence Day; and to welcome the 10th International Yoga Day (June 21, 2015 - June 21, 2024) in Lao Cai province, contributing to strengthening the connection, exchange, solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the people of Lao Cai and the people of India, while promoting the dynamic and hospitable image of the people of Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province to domestic and international tourists.
