Reporting at the Conference, Mr. Tran Van Thanh, Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism said: Many large-scale, international cultural, sports and tourism activities have been organized and brought positive effects to the tourism industry, especially in promotion and advertising. In addition to traditional markets, we are also researching and linking to expand to potential domestic and foreign tourism markets.

Following the success of a series of events, Binh Dinh tourism industry continues to do a good job of advising the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to successfully organize the program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity" taking place in September. This is not only an opportunity to promote tourism but also creates a direct approach for actors, directors and film producers with a multi-dimensional perspective, thereby connecting the local cultural heritage, reaching out on the world map through tourism, cinema and sports products of the province to domestic and international friends.
And most recently in December 2024, Binh Dinh welcomed 2 international 5-star cruise ships Le Laperouse to Quy Nhon Port (December 2 and 13), each carrying more than 110 crew members and 135 tourists from many countries around the world (France, Australia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, UK, USA, ...) to Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh to visit historical sites and scenic spots such as: Banh It Tower, Twin Towers, Ham Mac Tu Tomb, Ghenh Rang, ... This is a very encouraging signal for Binh Dinh tourism when Quy Nhon has connected to become a destination in international cruise tours.
The program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity" took place in September this year, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province.
Looking back over the year, with the efforts and joint efforts of all levels, sectors, businesses and people, Binh Dinh tourism industry has made a strong breakthrough. At the Conference, Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee pointed out that, besides the achievements, the province's tourism industry still faces many difficulties, challenges and certain limitations.
Binh Dinh province leaders also frankly admitted that we have not yet effectively exploited the existing tourism potential. Our tourism service businesses are still limited in scale, mostly small and medium enterprises, not highly professional, not reaching international standards, lacking leading enterprises to create breakthroughs (as FLC did before).

In which, Mr. Lam Hai Giang suggested focusing on closely following the Binh Dinh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 on Binh Dinh tourism development; focusing on building and developing the Binh Dinh tourism brand, making Quy Nhon a leading destination in Asia.
