The court fined Reddit 2 million rubles ($20,365), RIA news agency said.

Also on Tuesday, the court fined the Wikimedia Foundation, which owns Wikipedia, 2 million rubles, for failing to remove "false information" about Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine.

Wikimedia has previously said its information is well-sourced and in line with Wikipedia standards. Russia says it does not intend to block Wikipedia, but has repeatedly penalized the online encyclopedia.
