Russia sends "lord" satellite into space to monitor conflict in Ukraine

The number of Russian satellites in space has just been supplemented with a new member, the Kondor-FKA satellite. This satellite can control all of Ukraine's military targets in the conflict.

With many outstanding features such as operating in high orbit and good observation capabilities, Kondor-FKA is known as the "lord" of satellites.

The Kondor-FKA satellite is compact in size, but its mission here is extremely heavy.

Ruselectronics experts said that the Kondor-FKA satellite is equipped with an umbrella-type reflector antenna, which ensures 24/7 observation of the Earth's surface in all weather conditions in a position parallel to the flight path. In the observation range, this satellite can detail targets, determine the type and quantity of enemy weapons.

Therefore, the priority mission of the Kondor-FKA satellite in the future will be military targets in Ukraine. Any movement of Ukrainian troops will be constantly monitored.

The satellite's equipment will operate selectively, according to specific instructions. In a wide viewing range, the satellite has low resolution, if a suspicious sign is detected, the Kondor-FKA satellite's lens will focus on observing.

"No tank, no air defense system, no enemy soldier can get through," the Ruselectronics expert emphasized.

Recently, at the speed of "3 days equals 5 years", Russia has rapidly increased the number of its satellites in space.

According to statistics in 2022, the number of Russian reconnaissance satellites has increased by 80%. For example, the 4-ton Kosmos-2567 graphic surveillance satellite also performs military functions, and the Bars-M group of 4 satellites performs the strategic task of monitoring the planet's surface.

Russia has established a group of Tundra satellites to monitor missile launches and carry out a rapid response. The recently launched Kondor-FKA satellite from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome is the beginning of a new Russian satellite group, with another satellite in the same series as Kondor-FKA to be launched soon.

However, Russia still lags behind the UK and the US in the number of satellites orbiting the planet. Not long ago, with the support of Russia, US and UK civilian satellites were launched into space, but soon after, these satellites were repurposed to serve the interests of the Pentagon and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

In 2022, as the conflict in Ukraine escalated, Russia’s Roscosmos space corporation refused to launch a British satellite into space. The UK threatened to take the case to court because Moscow had broken the contract.

Without the support of Roscosmos, the balance of power in space between Russia and the US and UK in the near future will not only become equal, but the advantage will belong to Russia.

It is an undeniable fact that Russia itself is being monitored by potential adversaries. Russia’s special operations have shown that the enemy’s space intelligence and information equipment is very effective. Starlink high-speed, broadband satellite internet is one example.

The mass media has repeatedly shown the positions in the rear as well as on the front lines of Russia in great detail. All enemy drones and suicide boats are controlled from space. The recent attack on the Russian reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs is a proof.

The Russian Aerospace Forces are constantly monitoring near-Earth space. New generation radar systems are on combat duty across the entire Russian territory, with the function of identifying and suppressing spy signals. Of course, Russia's radio signal interception will become very complicated when the Internet and mobile communications are involved.

To overcome the above situation, Russia uses anti-satellite electronic warfare systems to suppress enemy space communications equipment, in which Russian space satellites will be the vanguard force.
