Singer and musician Thanh Bui received many questions about his wife's family when he appeared at an event on the afternoon of November 30.

- How are you doing now?

I clearly separate work and family. My family story is not recent but happened more than a year ago. There is no reason for me to stop my activities in the fields of education, arts and culture that I have been doing for more than 10 years. Potential students are a great motivation for me to work.

During this time, I often get asked questions like: "Are you okay?" and always answer that I am fine. I am getting used to the new rhythm of life. Music and art give me strength and energy to help me feel better.

Luckily, I still have the support of my colleagues and the press, clearly distinguishing between what belongs to me and what belongs to my wife's family. The truth is that I am not affected much. Perhaps because I have devoted myself for more than 10 years, have a certain name and position.

- How is your reputation affected when searching for the keyword "Thanh Bui" always comes with negative information?

Over the past year, I have been appearing at events, standing with the world's leading experts in the field of education. Like today, I am present at the event as a teacher.

The most important thing is how you live. In difficult times, you can only choose between giving up everything and overcoming step by step. I have to be an example for thousands of students to follow.

I would be lying if I said it wasn't difficult, I'm very realistic. However, I know what to do and I always have a positive outlook on everything I face. Compared to others, I'm still lucky.

My work is still going well, new products are successful. I haven't lost any students, while the number of students has doubled, the problems outside are beyond my control.

My personality and outlook have always been positive, regardless of circumstances.

- What does your job have to do with your wife's family?

If it is relevant, how can I still be here answering you? Questions like this should not appear here, right?

- Why this year are you suddenly more comfortable sharing about your children or not afraid to appear, even cry when watching your two children's performance at school?

Everything happened naturally, the children went on stage to sing because they wanted to. I lived very comfortably, not trying to respond or prove anything.

- What motivation do your children give you?

Like any father, I want my children to be protected, to live a full life without feeling deprived. I know I have to do my best to ensure that.

I feel like I'm doing my job very well, as shown by the children being happy and joyful every day despite the many things happening in the situation.

As you can see, I am living and sharing completely as myself, without any pretense. I have never had to change or destroy anything about myself before. I cannot overcome the fake, negative information out there so I focus on the love I receive.

- How do you protect your child from negative information?

My children will grow up in privacy. Luckily, they are still so young that I will have to take care of them and raise them.

- You talk too much about education, what about music?

I have been pursuing music professionally since I was 18, and it has been 22 years now, and I am very happy and fulfilled. Currently, I do not write music to sell anymore, but in the future, if I have the chance, I will write music for myself in a project again. I am focusing all my heart and mind on my education career.

I am 40 years old, but I still keep learning. Now, when I read messages from my students, they are gradually not understanding the words. As a father and a teacher, I have to try harder every day.
