MST Investment Joint Stock Company has just announced information about winning the auction of the entire debt value of Greenhill Village Joint Stock Company at VietinBank.

Accordingly, MST is the winning bidder with a total auction value of 410 billion VND. This price is equal to the starting price of the auction held on November 29 at the Ho Chi Minh City Asset Auction Service Center.

Previously, the debt was announced by VietinBank Thu Thiem branch to be selected for auction in May this year.

The first auction, the debt has a starting price of 495 billion VND. This amount is equal to the principal, interest and overdue interest of Greenhill Village at the bank as of May 14, 2024.

The bank said Greenhill Village is a real estate company established in 2018, located in Hanoi.

The legal representative is Mr. Nguyen The Hoang - Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director.

According to research, Greenhill Village JSC is the investor of Greenhill Village Quy Nhon resort project.

Greenhill Village project has a total planning area of ​​16.62 hectares, the project construction scale includes tourist apartments, villas and utility areas.

Regarding the Greenhill Village project, the investigation conclusion of the case that occurred at Van Thinh Phat Group said that on October 5, 2022, Ms. Truong My Lan gave 14.5 million USD (equivalent to 350 billion VND) to Mr. Ta Hung Quoc Viet - General Director of Greenhill Village JSC - to receive the transfer of the Greenhill Quy Nhon project invested by Greenhill Village.

By the end of October 2022, after being invited to work by the investigation agency, Mr. Viet arranged and returned to the Ministry of Public Security's investigation agency the amount of money received from Ms. Lan.

How much does the owner of Greenhill Village owe?

The auctioned debt includes the entire debt value (principal, interest, unpaid penalty interest) of Greenhill Village at VietinBank Thu Thiem, estimated at VND495 billion as of May 14, 2024. Of which, the principal balance is nearly VND393 billion, the accumulated interest is nearly VND85 billion, and the overdue penalty interest is VND16.5 billion.

The collateral is all benefits obtained from exploiting the value of land use rights of the Greenhill Village tourist area project; all debt claims, property rights, benefits, compensations and other payments that the company may receive after the effective date of the mortgage contract...
