WATCH CLIP:

At 5am this morning, on Ly Tu Trong and Hai Ho streets, water rose above the wheels of cars, making it difficult for people to move. Many houses in low-lying areas had water entering their homes.

The Meteorological Agency forecasts that from 6am to 9am, heavy to very heavy rain will continue in districts of Da Nang City; rainfall will range from 50-100mm, with some places over 150mm.

Warning in the next hours, the city will continue to have moderate to heavy rain.

Heavy rain concentrated in a short period of time is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas in the city, causing traffic disruption and property damage; there is a risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.
