Mr. La Van Tay, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chieu Luu commune, said that the San Sang hill area, Pieng Ngum village and Xieng Thu village of the commune suffered serious landslides.
"This section of the road keeps collapsing and causing blockages because there is a constant flow of water on the hill, so every time it rains, there are serious landslides," said Mr. Tay (Photo: La Tay).

The flood also caused Huu Kiem Kindergarten (Khe Ty village), Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district, to be flooded, causing mud and soil to damage the school's equipment, lawn, and toys.
Floodwaters also collapsed 30m of the fence of Chieu Luu 2 Kindergarten, mud flooded into the school yard and classrooms, damaging a number of items, equipment, and property.

The Xieng Thu - Bao Thang road continued to have landslides in some locations, causing damage to the culverts crossing the road in Bao Thang commune; the section passing through Luu Hoa village, Chieu Luu commune had landslides with a risk of breaking the road about 70m long (Photo: La Tay).
