Apple's cheapest iPad will retain its design, but it will be the first update in more than two years. The device will feature upgrades ranging from an improved internal chip to double the memory.
The iPad Gen 11 has an 11-inch screen - larger than the previous model - equipped with an A16 chip with a 5-core CPU and 4-core GPU, helping to bring a 30% increase in performance compared to the 10th generation iPad using the A14 chip. Compared to older iPad lines, performance can increase by up to 50%.
The device has a 512GB storage option, Apple also removed the standard version from 64GB and replaced it with a 128GB version.
The device is upgraded to an A17 Pro or A18 chip with 8GB of Ram and costs around $349 with the ability to increase the basic storage capacity to 128GB.
The device supports Smart HDR 4 to make photos look more detailed and vivid, Bluetooth 5.3 and eSIM technology, still compatible with the first generation Apple Pencil.
The product has four color options: Blue, Gold, Pink and Silver with the following prices:
The wifi-only version starts at $349.
The wifi-enabled and 5G-connected version starts at $499.
