A soldier died while on duty to recover from the storm.

Previously, storm No. 3 directly hit Hai Phong city, causing serious damage and greatly affecting people's lives.

On September 10, the People's Committee of Truong Son town (An Lao district) sent an official dispatch requesting Brigade 653 to support human resources to overcome the consequences of the storm.

Following the Brigade's direction, on September 11, Battalion 1 coordinated with Xuan Ang residential group (Truong Son town) to carry out the task of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 and being ready to deal with floods caused by rising tides.

At 1:30 p.m. on September 11, the commander of Battalion 1 assigned 6 comrades (including Major Tang Ba Hung) led by the Captain of Company 1, Battalion 1 to coordinate with the locality to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

While on duty, at 1:45 p.m., Major Tang Ba Hung was electrocuted (due to a leaking power line). Immediately after discovering the incident, although his teammates and the people quickly cut off the power and took him to Kien An Hospital for emergency treatment, by 3:15 p.m. the same day, comrade Hung had passed away.

Immediately upon receiving the news, Brigade 653 coordinated with local authorities to visit, encourage, share the loss, grief and pain with the family of comrade Tang Ba Hung and support the next steps.
