(CLO) On the evening of January 23, at the Ca Mau Provincial Library, the Ca Mau Provincial Journalists Association held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Spring Press Festival, an activity to celebrate the Party, celebrate spring, celebrate the country's renewal and celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
The Spring Press Festival is an opportunity for the province's press agencies to affirm their achievements and efforts after a year of hard work, an opportunity to promote their brands to a wider public, and an opportunity to honor those working in the journalism profession.

In his opening speech, journalist Ngo Minh Toan, Editor-in-Chief of Ca Mau Newspaper, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial Journalists Association emphasized: We welcome the Spring of At Ty 2025 in a joyful and proud atmosphere that Ca Mau province has continuously developed and advanced in all aspects. Entering 2025, a year of special significance, is the final year of the 16th Provincial Party Congress; the year of holding Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; the year of accelerating, breaking through to the finish line, striving to achieve the highest results of the goals and targets of the Congress Resolution and the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan (2021-2025).
In the development of the province, Ca Mau press has always accompanied the breath of modern life, with the Party Committee and the army and people of the province. The press is an important part of the revolution, contributing to the revolutionary cause of the entire Party and the entire people. In the current period, under the leadership of the Party and the management of the State, the Ca Mau press system has constantly innovated and developed strongly, meeting the increasing information needs of society.
Especially towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), this is a long journey of press development, affirming its indispensable position in social life.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Spring Newspaper Festival will organize an exhibition of spring newspapers and spring magazines of ministries, central branches and provinces and cities nationwide; exhibition and award ceremony for professional spring newspapers, spring programs of district and city Cultural - Communication and Sports Centers; exhibition and award ceremony for school wall newspapers in the province; award ceremony of the 3rd "Sustainable Poverty Reduction" press award - 2024; award ceremony of the 24th "Portrait of Good People - Good Deeds" press award.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also awarded certificates of merit to authors who won national journalism awards organized by central ministries and branches.
