On December 13, in an interview with Polskie Radio , Director of the Polish National Security Agency (BNB) Jacek Severa estimated that the amount of weapons provided by the US to Ukraine would only be enough for 6 months. Therefore, the goal of regaining lost territories is completely impossible.
Severa said that Washington’s supply of supplies to Kiev would be enough to last through 2025 “is too optimistic,” but that the Eastern European country could count on a temporary ceasefire next year, but a complete end to the conflict was a distant prospect.
According to the US Department of Defense, the total commitment of the Joe Biden administration for military assistance to Ukraine is about $ 63.5 billion. However, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that no amount of weapons from Washington can allow Kiev to turn the tide on the front and will only prolong the conflict.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Brazil's Folha de S.Paulo newspaper, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico expressed concern that the West might declare "let's sacrifice Ukraine" and agree to divide the country because it is tired of the ongoing war.
Affirming that there is no military solution to this conflict, Prime Minister Fico said: "They need to sit down and negotiate. If we are a little realistic, we have to admit that Russia will never leave Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk."
