According to analyst Ross Young, the next generation iPhone SE will be equipped with a notched screen similar to the iPhone 14. This means that the device will not use the advanced Dynamic Island design, which only appears on high-end iPhone lines today.
This information contradicts some previous rumors that the iPhone SE 4 will be equipped with a Dynamic Island design. However, this is completely reasonable when considering the position of the iPhone SE line. As a mid-range iPhone model, the iPhone SE often inherits the design and components from previous generations to optimize production costs. This is also Apple's familiar strategy to bring an affordable product but still ensure stable performance and experience for users.
Previously leaked images also revealed that the iPhone SE 4 will have an overall design quite similar to the standard iPhone 14. According to sources, this device will likely have a square frame, creating a sturdy and modern feel, combined with a flat glass back for a sophisticated look. With this design, the iPhone SE 4 not only retains the characteristics of the recent iPhone line but can also bring a more solid and premium feeling when holding than the previous generation.
The most obvious difference between the iPhone SE 4 and the iPhone 14 is on the back, where the camera system is simplified to only a single lens. While high-end iPhone models have dual or triple camera clusters placed in large modules, the iPhone SE 4 still maintains a simpler design to optimize costs.
